About Us

Who we are

We are the Willows Walk Trailblazers who Explore, Grow, Thrive and Lead on the Path of Discovery

Principal’s Message

We were excited to open the doors of Willows Walk Public School in September of 2021.  The vision of our school is grounded in human rights and honouring inherent indigenous rights.  Our school strives to create a welcoming and equitable learning community where individual identities are valued and represented.  We aim to be innovative in our teaching practices and to provide the best learning opportunities for our students.  As a community, we are regularly engaging in work that identifies and addresses barriers that may impact our students who identify as part of historically marginalized groups.  Willows Walk fosters a culture where all students have a voice and are encouraged to be critical thinkers and problems solvers.  We are very fortunate that our school is situated near a provincially protected wetland with a walking path behind our school.  This supports our goal of honouring our land and taking care of our environment.

Trailblazers are leaders, they point the way, take risks, and change the environment. They have a vision for a different future, a faith that turns their dreams into reality, and a determination that cuts through barriers and obstacles.

Yours in education,
